I'm a little suprised to not see Georgia a little more on the list.I think they are an outstanding team and they have a lot more experience this year than last.Yea they lost some big names but the holes will be plugged quite well JMHO

Watching TCU and BSU and it reminded me what is wrong with the CWS.

It's to bad that the same programs always get in the CWS. The NCAA needs to fix this issue and include more programs. SOS rating is a joke and rankings are a bigger joke! College baseball is a minor sport that could be so much better, if they expanded the teams.

The playoffs could be increased by two weeks and the excitement generated would provide bigger paydays to the "minor conferences" and more TV coverage by the local sport networks= more $$$$$.

Well, the Regionals and Super Regionals (which include many small conference schools) are there waiting to be televised. I think the number of 8 for Omaha is a good one.

Being from colder climates, I totally agree that northern schools get hosed when it comes to national exposure. We just have to hope that the hyped-up Big 10/Big East teams of this year can make a deep postseason run and get cold weather teams some notoriety.

Is Virgina considered a cold weather team??? They sure are ranked high in all the pre-season polls! They maybe considered a southern school but the weather doesn't know that. Heck even down in south it has been a nasty and cold winter, I guess that means the west coast will dominate this year!! :?:

I would consider Virginia a borderline team but mostly everyone else would never include them.
